My current writing project is a new history of the Crown Jewels published by Thames and Hudson in collaboration with the Royal Collection and Historic Palaces. This will tell the extraordinary story of the collection of regalia in the Tower of London, which includes some of the most famous gems in the world. Due out

went into the re-creation of the Elizabethan Garden at Kenilworth Castle.
